It gives me immense pleasure to announce the establishment of another milestone for UiTM. On 15th January of 2019, it was agreed and endorsed by UiTM Board of Directors on the establishment of Kompleks Arshad Ayub, which will be located at Jati Hostel Site in Section 3, Shah Alam. This complex is aimed to provide new facilities and a much improved learning environment and to enable UiTM to cope with the future demand in state of the art education.

Most importantly, this complex will be fully funded by the public through the wakaf contribution where individuals or philanthropists wanting to contribute can do so through the purchase of wakaf shares. Getting the fund is not an easy task but it is also not impossible to get. So, I would humbly request and urge our alumni, individuals, corporations and philanthropists to show their undivided support for the good cause. This is an opportunity or avenue for UiTM alumni, individuals, corporations, and philanthropists to give back to UiTM and to show their solid support for such a noble project. Kompleks Arshad Ayub will house various departments and various discipline of knowledge, programs and activities such as Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School (AAGBS) and Institute of Continuing Education and Professional Studies (iCEPS). Kompleks Arshad Ayub is expected to become a centre for continuous education and a catalyst for research and consultancy activities which eventually will become a learning village for future generation of students to come.

Again, having this well thought and planned project, and with generous contributions from UiTM alumni, individuals, corporations, and philanthropists, Kompleks Arshad Ayub is expected to be completed in the year 2023. With its completion, it is hoped to play its vital role effectively in providing good quality learning experience and education not only to the Bumiputera but all mankind that will indirectly obtain the spill over effects.
